Attn Safari Jim and Pete, and Lame Grousers Who Did Not Post Turkey Success (or failure)

No, scoring is a really good idea...those little diagonal cuts help the marinade soak in. Just make sure to cover back up with bacon (preferably some expensive sh*t) to make sure the meat doesn't dry out too much.
I suffered turkey failure, only getting out once.
