Jim:
I never knew you had it in you. The creativity, yes. The talent, yes. The photographs, yes. But the effort and time to merge them together. Sheesh, that's the ultimate combination. Better than peanut butter and chocolate. Better than a drilling. Perfcect. Delicious! Your piece brought real tears to this old cynic's eyes. I blame you, of course.
Can't wait for grouse camp. Thanks,
Pete
Ditto to Dr Dirt.
How am I supposed to get any work done now, with my keyboard all soppy???
Ok sappy chaps...I concur regarding Jim's greatness, and the deep wells of creativity and sensitivity he has demonstrated ( but of course! He IS Ballet Boy after all)... and the juxtaposition of his latest two posts, emphasizing the paradoxical nature of our avocations, is not lost on me.
My question is, should Jim and Josh team up? Like Kevin Smith and Ben Affleck in Chasing Amy...Ballet Boy and Broadway Josh--what a combo to document Grouse camp 2008...can't wait for THAT trailer.
:) Nice work Jim...very nice.
aw shucks you guys, twarn't nothin.
I'm ALL for teaming up with Josh. who knows, I may even invest in a hard drive video camera before the trip. with a four month old puppy, I should have plenty of video-toting time on my hands.
Jim
ps. Shawn, thanks again for stopping in!!
Wonderful work Jim, really and truly.
As far as teaming up, I've moved from producing and directing to foley artist and gaffer.
Director Man/Ballet Boy
