Smokygold's Thunder God
July 7, 2000 - December 10, 2011
Rough day today. Thor had a seizure, out of the blue, this morning and never recovered. He passed away as I rushed him to the vet. He may not have been the best hunting dog I've ever owned, but he sure was the nicest. Don't think I'll ever find another like him. We've all lost our hunting buddies before, but it never gets easy. Give your hunting buddies a good squeeze for me and remember the Thormeister.

Never easy to lose one of the family - be they canid or human. We always learn from the old dogs how to treat the future dogs better - so Thor's legacy will live on in a new form. Taku
Jim, my condolences on Thor's passing. He sure was a sweet dog, and he sure could roll.

Jim,
really, really sorry to hear this. Thor was a great one, and we had some memorable hunts.
Thor, God of Thunder, we salute you!
Jim, I am sorry to hear this. Loved the guy. and indeed...THOR, GOD OF THUNDER, WE SALUTE YOU...and will miss you.
My condolences, Jim. I have some great memories of hunting over Thor in Maine. He will not be forgotten.
Sorry to hear the news, Jim. I'm glad I got the chance to share a few days with you and Thor in Wisconsin while he was toward the end of his hunting days.

Sorry to hear about that. I couldn't help but notice that your dog and my Elhew pointer were born on the exact same days. I cherish every day with my dog! Sad to hear about Thor!

Jim, my heart goes out to you. I'll always remember that "pissah" hunt we had in Maine, Thor still a young dog pointing young grouse. Handsome Gordons, proud owner. Pete
