"Phenomenal goose season, best in my short career"

Apparently Keith hasn't been able to get his wireless connection to work this week out in the back fields. But he has managed to get the word out via sporadic and cryptic messages written in charcoal on birch bark that he is presently having the time of his life hunting Branta canadensis.

Although we can't get news to him, he can still get news to us. So stay tuned here for continued updates on the short happy goose hunting season of Keith "Francis Macomber" Tidball.

Mr. Macomber seemed to have some domestic challenges as I recall...what, the geese are now marriage wreckers in addition to wrecking putting surfaces and tee boxes? Or is it that Momoxie may be planning a little ten gauge trip for yours truly? What exactly are you getting at Dr. T?

geez, not getting at anything. :-) but I suppose if the elephant gun fits . . .

nope, just a harmless play on "the short happy season" phrasing. Still waiting for the kite story, though.
