...or target practice.
For those of you that don't know, Moira was thrown from this horse Wednesday night and suffered a severe spine injury. She is in surgery today, and I am suspended in the wash of all that was, is, and will be. There have been some touch and go moments, but if the surgery goes well, she'll be walking again before we know it. Appeals to whatever gods or deities you make offerings to are appreciated.

Oh man, I'm really sorry to learn of the accident.
I've come off of horses involuntarily myself, but, thanks to God, I've never been badly hurt (broken ribs and punctured lung were the worse. She'll certainly have my prayers. That's a bad deal indeed.
That's a big old horse. Cleavland Bay? They're all far off the ground, but that one is way off the ground and stout.
Use the Internet to find breeders that are near you. Go to an equine classified site there are too many to list: search under "ponies for sale" and then do a search on that site by state and breed.
