Unsung heroes--- unwritten stories

Well, I THOUGHT there would be exploits and stories, war songs sung and war dances danced.  The guns are now silent, and the war songs and dances never came... But the brown dog and I, we soldier on.  We apologize in advance for our personality disorders.

Hang in there Keith. I'm feeling guilty enough as it is for not getting the write up completed. It'll happen soon enough. In the mean time, you and that dog of yours enjoy the great winter weather...

Well Pete, its not just you. I don't seem to find the time to write up stories so well these days either, or even get out hunting as much, at least not this last fall. New Years resolutions abound.

I feel your pain Keith. Since the "UP Oddity" post of mid October, I have shot 1 grouse and a couple of woodcock and MAYBE one goose out at Ft Gusty. Zero ducks, zero deer, etc. etc. I will join you in your pledge for next year to be better and am starting work on the possibility of a New Brunswick grouse camp if folks want to climb aboard that.

all over the New Brunswick idea... any details yet?

Yeah-- I like trips to Canada. Speaking of which, Rich--- we need to talk soon.

I look to be on sabbatical in NB in the fall. the guy I am working with is not a hunter, but he is in a forestry dept and really well connected. stay tuned...

Deer season still open down here, so there's still a chance I can provide additional grist for the Grousers mill.

JW? If the J is for Jonah, the deer should make like Richie and go on sabbatical.
