Come on in, the water's fine!
Congrats!
Mr. Bill
James!! congrats to you both.
Some people will do anything to get quote of the week.
;-)
awesome news.
Jim
Safari, congratulations! Are you gonna post the full story? Video? Commentary? Actually, the water is freezing cold about half the time and boiling hot the other half, which adds up to...fine.
Congratulations Jim! May you and Mrs. Safari perform many an incredible duet. Are you still into sandwiches in a big way?
I kept expecting your singers to do the proposal for you on stage -- I suspected they were really South Africans faking the kiwi accent.
So, now that life is over, can I borrow that SKB you had at Old T last fall -- you probably won't need it for at least five years... and you won't mind if I whittle a little off the barrels and butt to make it fit Nolan?
Congratulations to you both!

Congrats Jim! Will this mean a name change, from Safari Jim to Sofa Jim, or from Safari Jim to So-far-so-good Jim, or from Safari Jim to So-much-for-hunting Jim...? Only time will tell.
All kidding aside, I am very happy for both of you. You deserve it. Enjoy.
Blessings to the new couple. May your lives be filled with joy, kishkas, knedelach, knubel borscht, cabbage soup and the fullest range of eastern European foods my people associate with happiness.
And as my people also say, may your marriage "wie un teuten bankas"! (loose translation, may your partnership be as productive as a mechanical leech to a corpse).
Okay, I think something is lost in the translation. Regardless, Congratulations to Jim and Jenny.
As El Jefe once said many moons ago, "Your life as you know it is over, you just don't know it yet."

Thanks GROUSERS! Mrs. Safari and I are very happy and excited about our upcoming nuptials!! No specifics as of yet, but we were thinking Oct 15! .... Just kidding. Jen is aware of the fact that Sept 15 thru at least Nov. 30 is OUT!! :) Hoping we can pull this off in May or June, sooner if we just decide to fly someplace warm and have a combined wedding/honeymoon. If we do a traditional wedding, Jen is expecting Pete Kleinman and the Grouse Camp Boyz to play. She's still laughing over the serenade Pete gave her (although Pete didn't know it at the time) at Grouse Camp, and is expecting an encore!
Will keep in the loop as plans begin to take shape.
Thanks again, and Happy New Year to All!!
SJ
Safari. I just started to make plans with the missus to attend your wedding. She pointed out that I will be in China then. I promise to think of something to make up for my absence.
