alright, I'll bite . . . what's the story?
There I was, enjoying some great calling and the spectacle of several flocks of geese giving our decoys a close look. After circling many times, a lone goose committed and landed just outside the spread. The rest of his companions changed their minds and flew off. Mike said, "he's walking off, better take him." I quickly pointed the new L C Smith and fired, at a standing bird, then at a fleeing bird inches off the ground. Don't know whether it happenen on the first or second shot, but later inspection would confirm that at some point I was clearly centered on a kite decoy. Ernie provided a colorful commentary on my performance, which left some 20 pellet holes in the kite, about half of them in the head and neck.
So if you have a good recipe for poly vinyl chloride, let me know. I hear that eating PVC is a lot like eating crow, so maybe a good crow recipe will do.
